My Facebook Status
As some of you already know, last week I deactivated my personal Facebook page. Some of my friends and family want to know why so I am posting this message on my official blog to give you an explanation for my sequester from Facebook.
As I am getting busier I feel a need to stay focused and not be distracted. Therefore I have reduced my administration to only my verified professional Facebook page, Instagram, Periscope, Twitter and this official blog.
Ever since my Facebook sabbatical began last week I have written 2 songs and created 15 new tracks in a course of 5 days.
You may agree with me that Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with old friends and new friends. It is also a great way to connect or reconnect with people from all over the world.
Facebook has been the sole source that has allowed me to reunite with friends from my childhood (while growing up in Germany), and keep in touch with my friends from high school. Additionally, Facebook has enabled me to reunite with my military buddies as well as my college team mates and coaches.
It has been (and continues to be) my lifeline to you especially when I am galavanting around the world.
Sharing my experiences with you is an honor and I enjoy hearing about your adventures and reading your posts.
The main purpose of this post is to offer an explanation and at the same time invite you to stay in touch by clicking on the 'Like' button on my verified page. Scan the QR code for a quick trip there.
